BE A SUDOKU MASTER.
Interested in Sudoku? Take part in the MEDIACORP-MARIGOLD Sudoku Masters 2009.
Targeted at primary and secondary school pupils, this competition will help you become more mentally agile as well as provide an opportunity to bond with other like-minded pupils from other schools.
Individual Category:
Up to 100 students from RGS can represent the school in the individual category.
In the preliminary round, participants in the Individual category will be given 4 Sudoku puzzles of varying difficulty to solve within 30 minutes. The top 10 scorers from each school will qualify for the Semi-Finals/Finals.
The preliminary round will be conducted on one of the 3 days from 29 to 31 July 2009, in RGS. (Mediacorp will visit the school to conduct the preliminary round.)
Team category:
Each school can only send 1 team of 4 students to represent the school in this sudoku competition. Participants of the team category will go directly to the finals on 23 Aug 2009.
The Finals will be held on the 23rd of August at Central.
Team category sign up is now CLOSED.
Prizes!
The winners of the individual categories and each winning team takes home $2,000 cash.

Support the cause.
The SPCA runs an animal shelter and supports quarantine for unwanted, abused and abandoned animals. SPCA takes in 800 animals every month, more that one animal every hour of the day, on average.
